First points of this year

The weather finally got nice to find the pit under the snow and sit down and break some rock. Nothing fancy and nothing broke
It doesn't look like it but they are both Indiana hornstone.

Nice, Tracy, but hurry and get them out of the white stuff.

Thanks guys! Mullet, snow should be gone today
I'll be thinking about you cowboy on my next rock run. I'll see if I can find some of the tan variety for you to try.

Good flaking pattern, you can really see it on the tan one. That one looks like a hunter for sure.

Man I'd like to get back up in that draw but a pipe dream for me I'm sure. The farthest up I went where the creek petered out there were round rocks all in the ground but I had no time or tools to dig with. Nice memory though

Thanks guys! Oh, I'm sure I'll be breaking some soon enough and I'm getting low on hornstone. Rock run next weekend!
