Thank you for recognizing us.

Eric Krewson, Army, Jan 67-Dec 69. Here I am at Ft Rucker in 67, mighty skinny!

A bunch of us vets are getting together at the local Ryan's today, they give vets a free meal on Veteran's Day.

Thank you to all those brave men and women out there. We should recognize our veterans much more than just one day out of the year.

Thank you (and thanks for starting this thread!).  I am always very happy I have never had to travel overseas to get shot at, but I certainly appreciate the sacrifice of those who did.  My dad was in the Marines during WWII and was posted on the Marshall Islands.  He didn't see any fighting, and always made it sound like he was off on a lark, hanging out at the beach and cracking coconuts...but at some point I noticed how close the Marshalls are to Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, and Pearl Harbor...yikes.

I second that.  Thanks to all the men and women who have served our country.  We owe you our gratitude and so much more.

Ditto.  WIsh I could have made a bow for my Dad, but he died before I got all this started.  He was a Philippine Scout under MacArthur in WWII, survived the Death March in Bataan.  What I owe him cannot be expressed in words.  Miss him a lot.

Thanks tyke, to day is always a special day for me. Every year some of my buddies I served with get together and visit. Most of then I only see once a year. This year we are in Miami Oklahoma. We are shooting some guns and bows and visiting with family and exchanging gifts. Kinda like the first Christmas of the year for us. Patrick
