Non bending tips?

About to begin tillering latest effort.  Objective is 43-47# @ 26".  Hard Maple board, 66" ntn, 1 3/4" width limbs tapering evenly to 1/2" tips.  Riser is 8" with fades tapering into limb thickness.  At the tips, am doing glue-on recurve.
"Recurve" block was 6" long and currently its thickness tapers from 0.69" at nock to 0.60" approx 6" into limb.
Not at all sure what to do with the recurve portion.  Should I consider the entire 6" length to be non bending and basically ignore that portion while tillering?

You will have to keep the entire recurve back past the tip splice stiff. Also, by adding two 6" recurves to a 66" your will be well over 70"n/n.

66" ntn measured w/ tips glued on.  Thanks for advice.
