Rawhide string knocks?

I have seen it done here. What is the process? I want to try some on my current project.

You mean built up sinew nocks? Or rawhide overlays?
I'm doing the latter on a bow with pin nocks right now. I basically just cut a small piece of rawhide, soaked in water till soft, pad dry, then glue it up and wrap the tip. That easy

just a small piece of rawhide. after the glue and hide dries, it shrinks a bit and is on there pretty good
