Night Rocket Launch
« on: January 24, 2014, 12:03:31 am »
There was a rocket launch tonight.  I've seen tons of launches since I was a kid living near Cape Canaveral, even saw a rocket blow up.  I figured I'd share what most folks don't get to experience.  Enjoy!

You know what I like about you, Primmy?  Everything in life is interesting to you.  You enthusiastically dive in headfirst and enjoy all you can.  You must have given your mother grey hair!

Thanks for sharing!  Alot of us have never had the chance to see one of those.  I was on a work detail at Merritt Island/Cape Canaveral for 4 days in 2003, but I had to leave 3 days before the space shuttle launched, so I did not get to see it.

We got to see the LAST Shuttle Launch.  Along with 1,000,000 other people.
My wife's Dad was one of the first design engineers for the Shuttle.
She insisted on seeing at least one launch.

The rocket in your video was designed and built, by ULA, in Decatur Alabama.  ;)
