PEARL's bow and Warpath's arrows
« on: November 16, 2013, 10:28:34 am »
Not to long ago I posted a picture of a bow I picked up, I wanted to know if I had been fleeced or if I had made a good purchase.  Turned out that I had not been fleeced, but had bought an entire sheep!

PEARL DRUMS was kind enough to offer to make me a bow of my very own, and WARPATH offered to send me arrows to match.

I got the arrows a few days ago (more than I was expecting!) and they are so pretty I was worried about shooting them and messing them up!

I got the bow Friday in the mail.  I love it!  Simple but pretty, also almost too nice to shoot!  Please excuse the awful cell phone photos, my nice camera kicked the bucket.  It's made out of osage, is 48 inches long and pulls 25lbs at 24inches.  Perfect for someone small like me.   I'll get better pictures up soon as well as full draw photos.

Thanks to the awesome people on this BB I managed to hit my straw bale a few times but I'm afraid that if I was out hunting it would have gotten away.

Hey, hey. It made it one piece, thats always a relief. Glad you like and hope it shoots 1000's of arrows.

I should be able to get a full draw pic on Friday if all goes well, it's hard to coordinate someone with a camera and daylight.
