Tryed to punch notch a pc today an actually broke the ear off while preparing for the punch. I kept going after break an actually got my notchs pretty even, Hey it's only a rock! Will I see how this could get very addictive, first an inch deep then an inch an quater where do ya stop, oh no over the edge deeper an deeper. Help

I've got one just like it, Bob, and it is addictive. I broke mine when I shifted my hand adjustment just a hair different then what I had been doing for all of the other punches.

Heck, I'd take that ear that is too long and shorten it up to match the other one. It would be a wicked looking point. Nice notch work.
