new to me tool

Saw this at the hardware store and I had to have it,anyone ever tried this tool before?

Yeah, great for pistol grips on crossbows and suchlike.
The big problem is when they are on the foor in a pile of shavings, they shatter when you tread on 'em >:(

I have one and never use it. Sureform make all sorts of rasping tools.

Yea work reall nice for working the handle in. don't step on the blade or it wil snap into pieces !

You need one like this that I have it's half round on one side and the other side is flat. Works great as I have hogged out a few risers with it real quick.

I have that one... I like it but it cloggs if you don't forget to empty it.  I take the other end handle off and shave and shake.

...also, with any of the SureForm tools you have to be careful with easily splintered wood to be sure you work with the grain and not against it or it will lift splinters as you work. They work very well for removing wood and come in flat or round configurations which help with the different surface shapes we deal with when making wood bows.
