board bow question

Ok so I want to build a board bow but how would I go about cutting it is I have no table saw or large cutting tools. Would the person at the store be able to cut the shape
i need nothing but my old bow and arrows.

The person building the bow generally makes the board into a bow shape.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Hand saw,hachet , rasp and safety glasses.
Some like motorboats,I like kayaks,some like guns,I like bows,but not the wheelie type.

YOU are the bowyer, YOU need to cut the board into shape. Making a bow isn't about power tooling a piece of wood down to the lines. It's a craft.
No need to use power tools. Do you think cavemen had power tools? :P Plenty of handtools are used.

If this is your first bow let it bend in the handle. No glued on pieces. 1.5 in wide will get you 50-55# while 1 3/8 in wide will get you 45-40 if you do your job. They'll rip it for you. A handsaw will get the length and my site will help you. Choose a straight grained board. Jawge

On my first  bow, i did thethe out line with a flat file that basically did nothing. If you wanna make a bow, youll find a way
