removing nocks from wooden shafts

I have about 90 oldish shafts spined for a bow I no longer shoot. I know new plastic nocks are not expensive but I am cheap and recycle :). I would like to know if there is any way of getting the nocks off the shafts leaving them intact so they are still usable for another set of arrows?

what are they glued on with? probably the only way to get them off intact is to twist them with a pair of pliers and that will probably only work if they are glued with hot glue.

For me, it is not worth the price of getting or having a nock split and dry firing a bow, or worst yet, getting someone hurt.  Not for the cost of a simple nock.  JMO.

sell the shafts or trade them for  a good supply of new nocks. sounds stupid to me to mess around getting the nocks of , if you can get them off how would you know if the nock is still safe to use

super glue likely is brittle enough they would twist off. @stefen, why would they be any less safe?

Dry dipping one in boiling water and see if the super glue will release.
  Another option is to make self nocks. They are more reliable than the plastic ones IMO.

I NEVER reuse nocks. Like many have said. Not worth your arm, or worse! Sell or trade the shafts if you aren't going to use them.
