Hey Amanda, Around here the archery shops pretty much just deal with compound bows, which for my taste are a bit boring, so I have to buy online. I've dealt with several suppliers, but two I think could get you going, that I found helpful are

http://www.3riversarchery.com/ . Call them, they prolly have what you need and could get you set up with something. I wouldn't go all out buying bigtime just now, just something to get you started until you learn enuff to know just what exactly you want. As for anything in your area I'm afraid I wouldn't have a clue, I can't even find anything in my area, except for woods! Which is cool too. The lessons here are the best I've gotten so far.
