Thanks for the compliments guys! Somehow these weird staves have an attraction that I can't resist. And the feeling when you shoot them for the first time is way better ;D

Very well done Leon. I can't access the full draw pic though. I tried copying and pasting the url with no luck.

Oh well, I'm sure it looks as good as the rest of the pics.  ;)

When I read the title I was half expecting to see something like this...  ;D

;D ;D ;D I think making a pyramid like this is harder than making a bow!

I wonder if that's how the Egyptians did it.

Nice bow Leonwood. Well done a usual sir. I can see your full draw picture now. It is satisfying to get these corner dwellers turned into bows and especially so when they exceed our expectations.

Really nice save from the scrap pile!
Yep, sometimes as much as I intend to destroy a piece of wood it still causes me to try to make a bow from it.
Of course I might destroy it then anyways.

Maybe for you!  Very nice work from a challenging piece that many wouldn't attempt.  Inspiring work for sure.

Ah, now that's a satisfying FD pic. Kinda like taking a bite of a crisp, cold, juicy, delicious, ________.  :)

Thanks guys! I have a set of apple billets which are a relatively good compared to this bow so I guess I will try a bit of rd with that one, glueing some deflex in the handle and recurving the tips a bit ;D

love it, and your aunt would be very proud of you
I also like to grab the wonky ones, giving me lessons, and I also like the look
reusing old stuff is a good habit

Really nice job. That is one pretty bow. I would never have thought about apple. Just goes to show you what can be done in the hands of a skilled craftsman.
