Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

First off thank you all for the great compliments.

Looks very nice..!  8)  How many inches of reflex ya got into it.? That is glued in R/D correct and not steamed.?
yes glued . looks deceiving in the other picture. Here it is before it is finished out. It has about 2" reflex past the back of the handle but much more from the bottom of the deflex.
That is awesome!!! How wide is your bow from fade to tips. I have a piece that of Ipe that is just a 1/16 shy of 1.25 inches. Figured I may try a Tri lam soon!!

Thanks Justin
this one is 1 1/8" wide to mid limb then straight taper. You can make ipe bows as narrow as 3/4" if you like but this design is better and more stable at this width.

Booyeah thats a beauty for sure. I say laminated bow of the month candidate. Really superb design and execution and the color blends are stunning.  Danny

That is certainly of of the nicest bows I have ever seen. Love it and I might try to copy it ;-)

That's as pretty a wood combo as I've seen!!!

Being all wood will your bow hold all that reflex over time ???

I am in awe of that profile  !!!
Inspiration, information and instruction by the ton and it's free,,, such a deal :)

[/quote] I don't see why not. Bows I have made years ago still  have the same profile and weight. Every bow takes some degree of set while building and breaking in. After that it's good to go unless it's overly abused.

I really like that unstrung profile.  Some sweet curves there.
