thank's for all the kind words, i havn't shot it past 15 yds yet but it's been makeing a real tight grouping,first four arrows were in a three inch group, Bub

Beautiful bow.  I am working on a white oak bow right now.  I read somewhere that they can be prone to a lot of string follow, but I see that yours has none.  Did you do any tempering?   I hope mine turns out half that good.  Great work.

it has taken about a half an inch of set after 100 arrows, it has a little string follow that goes away in under an hour, Bub

I read it only took like half an inch of set, wich to me is great. I've made 2 longbows from white oak and both had
some serious string follow.  was your oak particularly dense? how wide did you make it?
