nock/spline jig

we built this jig for cutting in nocks and nock splines, work's pretty good, Bub
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

josh i allways have troble cutting in my nocks, this makes them the same every time, i cut the reinforcing spline a little deeper than the nock, it look's a little nicer, Bub

I have only done a few self knocks but the ones I did were a bit tough to get a good cut on the knock. I can see where this would really help! Thanks again

Bub, thanks for sharing that photo. I just made a jig like this and it worked perfectly for slotting the horn insert and then the nock cut. I couldn't be happier and it only took about 15 minutes to make it out of a nice piece of hardwood that I had sitting around.
