Anyone else think it odd that at at over 450' depth, the water outside the 'cave' still has visable light?

If you google his name you get 306,000 hits and the first 200 have this sentence:

I would think that an archeologist would know better than to call it a recurve. Not to mention the lack of mapping in the cave.

The researcher's name only appears in conjunction with the deepwater archeology organization.  Nowhere else, no Linkedin, no facebook, no scientific papers or other publications, no university (where else is he getting his money, faked alien video sales?) connections.  And his last name is the brand name of a diabetes drug.

I think maybe the same aliens that invented the pyramid bows made from huge blocks of limestone in anciant egypt made that Neandertal bow, too.    >:D
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

I am a bit scpetical about this. To my knowledge, there is nothing indicating neanderthals ever lived in the new world. Their range was europe and the midle east. Also, they hunted BIG game, with traps and spears, not bows. If, however, "neanderthals" is (falsely) used as a synonyme for "prehistoric humans", the use of recurve bows is plausible, yet there remains some dispute since when exactly real composite bows were made. Some say since the mesolititic, judging fom pictures of bows that look like compounds from their dimensions (i.e. they were shorter than would be expected from a purely wooden bow). However, some cultures use short bows with a much shorter draw than we do, and poison them to compensate for the lack of projectile energy.
