Here is one I made for the girlfriends youngest son. I used a deer leg bone for the dagger, and gave it a jute wrapped handle. The sheath is plain rawhide with a rawhide liner.

It is pretty sharp. I got a couple of nicks while I was sharpening it.

i can tell you have some cherokee by the quilt
my grandma is part cherokee and used to make quilts like that.. just an observation.
