this is a blade I'm making to send to someone and the ? is what handle do you guy's prefer, horn, bone or wood. guess that's almost a survey
, anyway i'm undecided, Bub
I'm also gonna make a similar neck knife to go with it

I like bone with a high polish, it gives it a slight luminescent green look.

Like horn to but the rite wood may be cool if you had a selection of the different handles that would be cool to see side by side...awsome blades by the way!

Great blades there Bub! I've almost always used antler and like the way it looks and feels but that last one i made with the deer leg bone was a keeper too. I really don't think it matters as long as it's all home made..

Shape of the handle and a good solid hafting is primary,of course good looking material is always cool. Any of those materials would work.

Spalted maple would look nice! I did one like that recently with a TN black blade. I like it.

thank's guy's, I got the spalted maple ruffed out, but i'm a sucker for nice walnut
I filed a groove around the hilt and feathered it out so there is a smooth transition from the rap to the wood, Bub
