Kiggavik: The Falcon Bow.
« on: November 08, 2011, 05:34:34 am »
There are two stories by James A. Houston (possibly based on Eskimo legends) that feature a bow made of some sort of horn, maybe yak or ox. I remember reading "The White Archer" as a child and admiring the craftsmanship detailed in the story. I was just wondering if anyone here owned the book that this story or "The Falcon Bow" was in or remembers the details of the bow. I think it would be an interesting project when I have more experience in bow making.

Check EBay.  There are some listed, reasonably priced.
