little teaser of future post of my FIRST bow
« on: November 08, 2011, 01:25:27 am »
ok, i am going to finally bite the bullet and post my first bow. i know i have posted others in the past, but this is one i built about a year ago and never remembered to post. ill have pics up tomorrow, but here are the specs, its 67ntn(i think, its a least that) made of probably the only osage tree in RI, pulls 60@32, and has 1 inch of set. once you see the pictures you will probably say it will have a large amount of hand shock, and well it has a fair amount, but since its my first i will leave it. it also shoots surprisingly accurately, probably because the wood had a sideways bend, bringing the center line at the handle close to the edge, it doesn't do well with light arrows, but seems to speed up within reason with the heavier arrows, even flinging my warbow arrows pretty well
so i will have the picture sup as soon as i can, sorry for the 1 year delay ::)

Is this bow making a sickness? or the cure...
