? about adding reflex

Ok on the few bows I have did, I have added reflex just after floor tillering. I did this on a Hickory I am now working on But by the time I have got it to brace it has lost nearly all of the reflex. Can I now add reflex again before tillering it on out to weight??
Thanks, Ron

Ron, More reflex probably won't last either plus you are stressing an already stressed bow. I'd say it is best to leave it alone and start on your next. If the bow shoots well, live with it, if not, you have nothing to loose. Pat

Hickory wont hold reflex unless its grossly over built and/or dry as a popcorn fart.
Heat treating the belly after you add reflex helps but it will probally still pull out most of it.
