I think we will for now just go ahead and buy the 1 3/8" shorty bopper, hand pad and ishi stick to help get me started. I liked the flintknappingtools .com site the best.
What is the deal on the ishi sticks ? They offer a 3/4" and 7/8", those are awful close to the same size, only 1/8" difference ? They also offer the double ended one and I can see where that would come in handy by having two sizes of copper in one tool.
