Kegan,  Your bow looks real good! I like the built up leather grip and that has to be very comfortable. Very cool name too!

I just wanted to shoot heavy weights (obviously after reading Hill's book) and kept building stronger and stronger bows when I started. When I started it was the easiest way to make a bow shoot faster too. Now I'm just an addict ;D.

Wow, beautiful bow Kegan.  Those Narrow, light tips really make a big difference.  I made an osage bow with very light, narrow tips, and it shoots surprisingly fast considering it's light weight (about 45#). It also has very little handshock, again due to the light tips.  I think that really helps with good, accurate arrow flight too.  Great job on that one dude!

Thanks Billy! Light tips really are effective, especially on stiff limbs. I made an ELB a while ago with very light tips, but it bent all along it's length and wasn't as fast as it could be.

On my next one I'm going to try even more narrow tips with more reflex curved into the limbs... should be a rocket launcher >:D!!!
