Finished tillering a 60" osage to 48# @ 27. it had about 1 and 1/2 " of follow. Wanted to up the weight, so I Slowly  toasted the belly to the point the wood began to change color and put it in the attic to rest - hasn't been very hot,so the attic was probably went from 70- 85 degrees at most. Took it back down 3 days later,  and the top limb has followed like crazy another 2 inches.  any thoughts as to why?

I'll get some pics to post soon - would olive oil  heatgunning and reflexing  be adviseable after stressing the limbs by tillering AND heat treating? or ya think  the belly be too weak?

wood is not dry,,also if the bow has been heated before even know it held the shape of the form when you removed it,,if it is not dry enough when you reheat it ,, it may revert to its origional shape,,
