My buddy Erik is a bowyer as well, some of you might have met him at the Tennessee Classic this year, he was mostly hanging out in the flintknapping rock pile. He makes bows as well, and doesn't have a computer or camera to post pictures of his bows, so I am going to post his bow for him. He usually makes heavier bows, but decided to make a lighter, bunny-buster bow. I think he did really well on this one. tips are shoulder nock style, with privet overlays under 3/8" wide. Bow is 60" long narrowed bendy handle design. 1.5" at the fades tapering to just under 3/8" nocks. 30 lbs at 28 inches. Shoots pretty fast with a 350 grain arrow. Thanks for looking!

yeah scott that's EXACTLY what they are.
Actually they are just rubberband bracelets that someone gave me a long time ago that havent left my wrist in over 5 years. THe pink one was actually red at one time but the sun has faded it that color. Too much time out in the sun I guess.

when you draw it you can feel it flex just a little through the handle area. So I don't know what else to call it.
