New Primitive arrow

I wasnt real proud of the fletching on my last Primitive arrow and finally broke the point so reworked it today and got a better job. Learned a bit more about primitive fletch preperation  and instlalation. I also put pine pitch on all the sinue wraos for weather protection and to sort of seal and glue. I have got to get some foam matress material now for an arrow stop before shooting.    Kenneth

Great lookin arrow!  And I like those goose wing feather fletches....they look nice and sturdy.  Now shoot it into a deer!

Thanks guys for the nice comments.  Billy actually we are supposed to use steel broadheads here in Colorado, but if I actually got an elk this year and could get him picked up some how would love to do a penetration test with this arrow thru the ribs and one of my Ashby style trade points on a shoulder blade.      Kenneth

Looks fine to me.  It just needs a few friends to hang out with in the quiver.

Cowboy, yep you are right the point is dacite. Yep again for carrying in my quiver, you can'thave too much medicine and I have never had too many arrows.    Kenneth
