Hi All-
I just got a Rudder kit, bamboo and hickory. I am going to use stretch wrap for my glue up over a reflexed form.
Is Titebond III an acceptable adhesive as long as I prep the surfaces and allow sufficient drying?

It should be just fine. I glued one bow with 4 inches of perry reflex which they say is really hard on glue joints and it worked just fine. I'm pretty sure several guys on here use it to glue lams together.

I've used TBIII to glue boo backed hickory bows in Perry reflex with good results. I've never used shrink wrap but I have used inner tube bands to wrap the glue-up. Pat

I have done several of those with Urac and spring clamps. Works great for me.

TB3 and clamps has worked for me.

in my experience the saran wrap works but is kind off a pain in the ars to deal with when trying to
wrap it tight enough to get a good glue line.
i prefer innter tube strips.they dont tear when trying to get them snug like the saran wrap.

I used shrink wrap on my last bow which eventually did okay. But to be on the safe side, I would clamp it everywhere possible.
The only glue I use is resorcinol which has worked 100% for me.

Urac 185 is what I use. I used tb2 on a couple of R/D BBO's. I got joint creep on both bows one delaminated. But who knows it was probably my fault but I have never had a single problem with urac. I have also used epoxy with great results. Resorcinol is another great choice. Good luck.
