I know none of yall ever missed a deer so I guess I am the first. ;) :) :) I was in the stand
yesterday morning and about 15 till 7 am I had a nice big body 8 point come in on me,he caught
me off guard,I had been watching a little opening in front of me and when I saw him he was 30 yards
out and closing fast.It was just good shooting light and my bow was hung in the tree without
an arrow nocked. O well not very prepaired.By the time I got my bow and an arrow nocked he was right there at about 8 yards and fixing to go behind a big oak and then no shot so I had to rush a bit
and shot right over his back.He ran off about 30 yards and looked around and then just feed on off.
The funny thing is everyone that has hunted that stand has missed at least one deer and some has
missed several.maybe it's the stand.Ya right. ;) ;D ;D Maybe next time I will win,he won the first round. :)

Well. if everyone is missing, he probably thinks it's safe.... maybe he will be back! ;D

Pappy, I thought I was the only one who misses. Oh well if I can laugh and still consider it a good day of hunting, I am still the winner and no one has to lose. Kenneth

Too bad Pappy, I got bested the other day too :'(.

Pappy, I missed about four hogs in two days a while back, so it's possible.... ;D I haven't even got a bow shot at a deer yet this year. Seems like every year I hunt the early bow season without getting a decent shot, then I pick up the muzzleloader and deer come out and stop at fifteen yards broadside......
