a glove and notched pad with leather ramps that i came up with...

so how about yall? anybody else have something you came up with to make knapping a little easier that you haven't seen anybody else make?

     Cool!  I just have a pair of roping gloves, and a lether pad with a thumb hole cut out.  I have been thinking of using my stainless mesh fileting glove, but thought it might catch the tiny flakes, and really chew my hand up.  Man that is a nice point!

nice man...the little bit of knapping ive done ive just used buckskin...never had such a good idea as that...nice  :)
