this little bow turned out to be a big suprise. it was my first attempt with ipe, and it won't be my last! it's energetic, lightweight(about15 oz.!), and draws 54# at 28". this is the first bow that i've built that hasn't taken a noticable set, which thrills me. the handle iszebra, osage and zebra again, with a hemp wrap and a floppy rest. shooting is enjoyable, as attested by the fact i've lost count of the number of shots fired. accuracy is good, and i look forward to hunting with it this fall!

Nice bow it should make meat no problem :)

Glad you are having fun! and your experiences highlight why Ipe is becoming a very popular bow wood..
