I was out stumping today and was thinking I could take some smaller game (rabbit?) but realized I had no experience skinning and prepping game. ::)
Any good sources y'all would recommend?

Skinning's no big deal. For small game, just gut it out and pull the skin off, starting at the cut. For big game, slide your hand under the skin first to seperate it from the meat before pulling it off.
Don't know any books though :P.

I remember my first skinning victim: a shrew!
I would have been doing with an elephant? But I was a boy of 9....
