Title: Decreasing shaft spine

When sanding a shaft to decrease the spine I assume you sand the shaft's full length,is this correct?

Sanding only part of the shaft is an advanced technique and requires a lot of skill.  IMO, sanding the shaft along the entire length is the safest bet.....especially if you're trying reduce the spine on lots of arrows.  Of course, if you've got the skill, using Pappy's advice will yield a superior arrow.
