Ok guys, first off thanks to all those who offered advice and more (Hillbilly provided some amazing arrows). Here is what the father-in-law will be getting for a belated birthday present. It came out way under weight acuz I gots no patience so I may end up piking it a bit to bring it back up. However, Charlie will most likely never take it off the wall so I may leave it be.
I believe the tiller is still a bit stiff in the outer part of both limbs but again, not sure if I will fix this or not. I will get more pics added after I decide and put a finish on the bow.

Looks a bit stiff in a few places, out on the outer limb yep and on the left side just out of the handle. But it sure looks nice! Could be all the kinks in the wood just make it look like that though.

I thought that at first too but convinced myself it wasn't. I will hack on it a bit more.

It looks pretty good-tiller is basically there, I like the arc you've got going there and both limbs are coming down pretty even. Like David said maybe scrape just a bit about a quarter of the way out the left limb at the stiff spot. The right tip is a bit stiff looking, but there's a visible kink there and it's bending pretty nice. If you think he's not gonna be shooting it much, I wouldn't do much more to it. Good looking bow with some nice character-Your father-in-law should be tickled with it. I'm glad to see the arrows got there in one piece - I enjoyed making them. I like the plaque you made up for the set-that's sharp.

Looks like a great hunter. Planning to put a riser on it?
Gotcha bookmarked for July Self Bow of the Month, of course.

Well I finally decided to pike it a bit which did alter the tiller slightly but it's still not completely right. However, the father in law will never take it off the wall (his own admission) so I left it as is. It did however bring the weight up but either way, he is tickled silly about it.
