Title: Another!
Post by: Pat B on July 09, 2008, 06:35:13 pm
I made this little bow a few weeks ago to donate to Powder Creek for their upcoming shoot on July 19-20. The bow is osage, 51 1/2" t/t, just over 1" at the fades and tapering to about 7/16" at the tips. I used medium brown leather dye on this bow except at the tips where I added a crooked arrow drawing with India ink and to finish it off a leather handle wrap. The overlays are bison horn.
 She pulls 20#@20".    enjoy!          Pat

Great looking bow Pat.  I wish I had one of those as a kid.  I had a 15# fg as a kid and I thought it was the berries.  This one should really make some kids' day.

Nice little bow ,Pat. You've been busy. Get a tape or twenty inch arrow next time on the full draw. Looks like you are maxing it out  at the handle.
