I've seen sporadic references to this concept, but the only concrete example I've found has been a single photo in TBB4. I've searched this forum and paleoplanet to no avail. Does anyone have any additional pics or documentation? I think I understand the concept: the set-forward handle means the brace height is comfortable in relation to the grip, with reduced strain, whilst allowing the string to be near parallel with the limbs for exceptional leverage. The shallow reflex further adds to early draw weight.
Now I just need to put it into practice, and a visual aide or some other confirmation would soothe my confidence

Aha! Found it, 5min to midnight. It seems he wrote a piece on it in Volume 12, Issue 4 of the PA magazine: 'Short Bows, No Stacking'. Unfortunately, only volumes 13 and onwards are digitized, and I'll have to wait a few weeks until I'm able to receive mail. Gah, that anticipation!
