Title: Finally knapping

I've been busy lately and haven't knapped, here is my latest. Made this for my buddy Dave since I'm leaving soon. It's pedernals style point made from raw harvester chert. It was a gnarly spall so it was challenging and I'm glad I was able to get a point out of it.

Yep gave it to him yesterday : ) we are moving to Florida Brian so I won't be near by to bug Dave anymore.

Hope you end up by some really nice coral or chert there. I’m sure your wife will want you to keep collecting rock.

M2a yep it is my favorite rock, the colors are subtle but they are there.
Brian I'm sure she will be thrilled when I find more rock down there lol. Yeah Dave is a great guy I'm glad I got to meet him.

Nice looking point from some knarly looking rock. To bad I'm not in Florida anymore, would have been nice to meet you and put you on the path of some rock. But Parnel and Bonepile know where some is at.
