Hello there!
I have many wood arrow shafts!
Normally when I receive them, I spine test them, and also weight them.
Yesterday I was running trough a batch of shafts, and noticed that all of them were spining 6-7 lbs less than when I first measured them, and weighting 4-6 grains more.
I don’t store them in a humidity controled room, they are indoors, next to my staves.
Do you guys store your arrow shafts like a finished bow?! With moisture control?
Is a 55% humidity advised like for most bow woods?!
Thanks

That happens. It usually does'nt make a great deal of difference shooting them once they are finished and sealed up.Mine are stored in the same area as my bows.45 to 55 percent humidity.

I store shoot shafts or cane bundled in our utility room or in the basement with a dehumidifier during the summer.

Thank you both
