good luck with that bow john. we're fixing to have a minibow tournament early may. max length for the bows is 20". you should see some of the models presented so far. one composit with horn an sinew, several laminated bows, holmegaards, it's incredible how creative some folks are.

Sounds cool Marius ! I'd love to see some pics of them...I started this one as a test of the wood and just kept on going. I'll post more as the work progresses. Just about have it floored tillered.

Saw a honey locust bow at OJAM, that is some pretty wood and the guy was pleased with the performance.

Cool i have a boat load of it ! The only problem is that i could get nothing over 52" out of the log :'( Time to learn how to splice :D

It is a fun little project. I can sit in front of the tv and work on this one :D

With those little wee bows that I make, if I want to actually use them, just build a stock, and trigger with peg and make it into a crossbow.

We made quite a few mini bows out of Osage scraps that shot bamboo skewer arrows (2 fletch) over 200 fps... shocked the compound boys ...hahahahaha Great way to test 'bow" wood...
