Thanks for sharing 1442. I can't imagine how many times I'd break one trying to make one

beautiful hook. impressive skill :OK
have you ever tried double hooks?
-
Nice hook. I've been thinking about trying to make one also.
-
Amazing. I could not even imagine succeeding in trying to make something like that myself!
-
Thanks y'all
Glis, I have made some eccentric looking double hook things kind of more artsy than functional.
I think I still have one someone wanted mounted for a necklace and they never came back and got it after I put a hanger on it. I'll take a pic and post it tomorrow.
Y'all should make a hook. It's easier than making a thin point. supporting it without bending it takes some getting used to but it's really not hard to do. The flaker tip barely gets deformed once you have a tear drop shaped preform, so there isn't a lot of force involved.
Look up " YouTube channel Stone hook". There you will find some videos showing the process if you would like to see it being done.
