Title: "Teal and Gold" 5 curve bow finished!

Finished up a new bow here in beautiful big sky country. The weather and I were at odds but it finally gave way for some awesome pics. I wont deny that this is one of my favorite ones yet. Almost a year in the making. Multiple layers of sinew over Osage Orange. 5 curve profile heat bent into shape. Rewrapped with sinew to protect a few laminar cracks. She is living proof that a short and sexy 5 curve bow with a short draw length can be a serious contender. 47” OAL braced. 53# @ 23.5”. 525 gr arrow at 163-164 FPS.

I kinda like the colour, didn't think I would. Nice bend too. Good job. Different. :D

That's really nice. Makes the year long process all worth it when you wind up with a bow like that. Great job!

Great job NorthHeart. Like Don said, everything looks very balanced, and the finishing is beautiful. My daughter's favorite color is teal, she would absolutely love it.  :)

Yeah, I really like it. Color is cool and the bends are awesome. Very nice job.

Very nice!  Good work, seems like it took a lot of patience!!  Looks a bit more like teal green than teal blue though!  Btw, teal blue is the color of the the 19th SF Group.  Co C, 5th Bn was in Montana until it was moved to Colorado in 1979, I was the SGM from '79-'82 in Ft Collins, CO.  May have to come up with a design to commemorate the unit!
