still can't get it right but its alot closer to what i'm looking for. mabey i harvest a deer with this point .

thanks wolfwatcher, the dvd had alot to do with my improvement i've watched it about5 times now. working preforms seems to be the way to go for me at this point, I stilll want to learn how to work the flakes and spalls from rough material but for now I will keep using preforms. This ancient skill has become more like an addiction than a hobby :D but I can think of worse things to be addicted to. I love this stuff. After getting this down I would like to make some knives and maybe a tomahawk.
