I'd love to see one in the magazine to Bill. Maybe a build along article on feather backing. I know you've done one on the site before. Definitely one in the BOM. Those are so beautiful and the craftsmanship is second to none. I've got turkey breast feathers already. Need to get the glue you used yet. Forget what you called it.

I can't write Pat.

Thanks all for the kind words. I've tried lots of different feathers, but Turkey are my favorite.

Bill underestimates his writing talent. And maybe Kyle/BJ could be talked into bit of editing.
That would make for a collector item issue!
-
Looking forward to seeing it at MoJam 2019.
-
I think so to Mike and Pat. Bill, I have a hard time talking sometimes to. Sometimes I like writing better. I can think more about what I want to say. Word Doc helps with the editing or just send a email. I know you could do a great build along. Sure would like to see some full page pictures of that bow.
Sure hope you enter it in BOM

PS I'd help you if you think it d help.

Cool texturing on your handle too. What's the procedure on that?
-
Those feathers are beautiful. Unreal color coming from a natural source.
I love looking at your tillers. I thought it was a bendy handle when I first looked at the full draw. A real beauty.
-
An awesome looking bow! That’s some patience right there.
-
Incredible bow Bill.
I can help with an article if you want. I'll take pictures and document the process as you do it. Either my place or yours.
-
Might have to do that Clint, be a good winter project for us, we've been wanting to do one together for some time now.
Got to get a bow finished to do it though...…..
We could fancy up one of those old nasty Pearly bows you've got :) :)

Beautiful bow! I love those turkey feather backings in the sun. I’ve done a couple myself and enjoy making them. I like your finish better though. I built up coats of truoil, which worked. But took a while. Yours is coated in an epoxy type finish over the feathers, correct?f

I could never get tired of looking at your bows. That tiller is spot on. The feather backing is stunning. Better than any snake skin I've seen and I really liked skinned bows. Bring that one with you to ojam or mojam so we can fondle it in person. Danny

I had the privilege to see one of these several years back made by Bill.
A really nice addition to the craft.
Great looking bow, Bill.
