Well it's been a busy summer and this is long overdue. My grandkids have played with "Grandpa's Toy" a couple times now and they are starting to get the hang of it. Charlie is my oldest grandson and he listens to instructions pretty well. We started to develop some form and consistency.
Here's a couple pictures. Honestly it's very hard to get good full draw pictures and give instructions at the same time.

PS if you don't know what "Grandpa's Toy" is it's a kids bow I posted months ago.

Looks like he's having fun

Yup Mike, grandma and grandpa too. Trying to walk that fine line between teaching proper form and not developing bad habits and just plain having fun.

Thanks Joe. Charlie came with his grandma and myself to the first Primitive Archery meet I ever attended three years ago. We have been trying out a few bows since and this one seems to fit for starters. I'm probably not the greatest teacher but he's a pretty good student.
Thanks Pat, like to whenever I can

Sweet. My kids love their Grandpa (my dad), so this kind of thing really hits home with me. You da man BJ :)

Thanks Rob
Thanks Jeff, it's fun being grandpa. I like it. I remember my grandpa. He passed away when I was about 13 but he was a lot of fun. Still remember him giving us wheelbarrow rides when he was feeding the cattle. Funny how I can still see his face in my head after all these years.
