I posted the side split from this bow a couple weeks ago. It was a rather nice kid bow I named " old-young ". This was a very challenging Osage staves got from Frank at Marshall last year. He sad it was at least 25 years old. He had it and a few others that no one wanted for all these years and he didn't feel like loading and unloading them again. I feed Frank pretty good and kinda watch out for him and he gave me a really good deal on all his picked over staves. This one he told me, might not be a bow in there but should make a nice walking stick. I gotta say I looked at this one along time before I could see anything in it. Then I found them. Really like this Osage and this old stuff really is something special.
Here it is "Walking Stick"
64" ttt
57 @ 28"
Really surprised how much I like this one. I don't think I got it to 28" but hopefully you can get the jest of it.
Enough rambling

Looks real good from here, but I'm betting it looks even better in person. Great job on a challenging stave. I cant tell you how many times I wished I had taken a before picture...and I still forget to do it.

Thanks everyone for looking and all the kind words.
Thanks Jeff I haven't put a skin on a bow since Snow White. I just really find myself liking the bare Osage back. I think I made 13 Osage bows this winter and didn't put a skin on any of them. Probably will someday but right now I'm just enjoying the Osage look.
Thanks rps3. There's so many times in my life that Ive said dang wish I'd have taken a picture of that. Yet I have over 4,000 pictures on my phone.lol. Oh well didn't miss all of them.
Thanks again everyone

Thanks Aaron. I posted it about the time everyone was getting ready to leave for the Classic. Wish you could have made it to Marshall. I took my walking stick along and let a few people shoot it. Got to show it to Frank and he got me to take his leftovers again.lol. In fact Clint gave me his leftovers to. Maybe I'll come up with a walking stick for the raffle next year.
