does knapped glass get as sharp as as knapped flint?
I never had much success with it?
-
wow great!
glass getts scary sharp. id say way sharper than flint more like obsidian. i flakes very easily

glass points can be very sharp. i got a flake stuck in my finger to the bone while percussion flaking. with bottle bottoms start by taking thinning flakes from the concave side of the glass. its prone to grind when you try to sharpen the point. avoid this as it dulls the point. i learned from a link in a post on this page. i cant remember the address though.

Those look really good. Just don't create too much knapping material before you start on the first one, or you'll lose some blood for sure. :) Bootboy-glass points get extremely sharp if you get the edges straight and thin with a good cross section.

They look good.I mostly drink my beer from a can ??? guess I could make some trade points. ;D
Nice job. :)
