What book do you think is the best for knife making?
-
There are a ton of great videos on YOUTUBE that cover basic blacksmithing to knives and even straight razors? There are how tos on building hammers, tongs, forges etc. If one of you guys that is good w/posting pics would pm me I would send you a pic to post of a really handy tool that's easy to make for in the blacksmith or bow shop.....paul

I just ordered this book. I'm not sure how much knife making is covered in it. K Halverson recommended it in an old post.

There are some great narrated YouTube videos that will visually show you what to look for and how to take raw steel and turn it into something pure and hard. I’ve really gotten into making the spines of my knives soft and then clay tempering the blade edge and adding a nice hamon.

Bryce can't wait to see some of your knives.
Clint I did buy the $50 Knife Shop I also got The Wonders Of Knife Making by Goddard's.

I’ll second Wayne Goddard’s 50 dollar knife shop it’s a good book
