Title: Big doe down

Not sure if  FG is okay here, please move if not. Been caring my selfbow for 2-1/2 weeks and just not getting a shot opportunity, decided to take my fg longbow for a walk and yep big doe comes right by my ground blind at about 15 yds, the rest is history 42# longbow 66" and a new to me head a 135 Ace, Saw arrow sticking out both sides as she left, now to get back after them with my selfbows. Nice big fat one. What kind of bow you shooting? I am surprised you didn't have one of those dandy points you make on that arrow.

Lyman, traded a heavy weight local made bow for a light weight local made bow, best I could gather was the guy name was Jason Williams and made this longbow, no name just the specs on the bow 42#@28 and 66 ntn, Not real fast but dead in the hand and quiet and hits where your lookin. Been carrying the self bow and stonepoints  for a couple weeks and just decided to take the Fg no name for a walk and looked what happened. Got 2 more tags so I,ll be after them with the selfie and stone points. Bob
