Hello again, Fellows,
I like to show you my new Elderberry I made for a primitive tournament this weekend.
she came from a nice, small tree with ca. 3“ diameter and so she is a bit high crowned. I only have to correct sidewards a few inch with dry heat.
Tip overlays and arrowpass are from cherry root stock. Finished with 7 layers danish oil.
Measurements: TtT 64 ½“, NtN 63“, Fade: width 37 mm, thickness 19 mm, Tips: width 8 mm thickness 10 mm.
Drawweight: 42# @ 26“
Maybe the bottom limp bend a bit too much, but I will leave it because she feels good balanced and shoot very smooth. She wings around 400 arrows til now.
Thanks for looking
Hans

That's a nice bow Hans! I love elder! I think it benefits from a high crown since it is really good in tension. Did you heat treat it? If not and the bottom limb decides to take some set you can heat treat the bottom limb a bit to balance it out some.
Oh and about imgur and posting images. If you open the foto on the imgur site you can click the three white dots next to the facebook and instagram buttons, you get the option to "embed post". If you clck that it opens a new window with a small text you can copy using the button "copy" next to it. Looks like this: <blockquote class="imgur... etc..
If you paste this text in your PA post it will show up as images
