Title: Honey locust
Post by: cailean on February 04, 2017, 09:31:10 am
I have a question on honey locust as a bow wood,  first is it any good, second is just the heartwood used or is the sap wood left on, I have several good pieces of this beautiful greenish gold wood seasoning in my shop. Any info you can give me on this wood will be greatly appreciated. Cailean

Honey locust will make a pretty good bow. Treat it like whitewood, long and wide.
