Hey guys. I was hoping someone could tell me what the heck this is. I was told it was sage but it doesnt look like any sage ive seen before. I fou d on picture on google under the nane white sage that looks slightly similar but not really. I found it in a rather deserty rocky area in central B.C. this summer. It sort of had maybe a lavender smell to it.. it was faint but pleasant. When i burned a little bit just to see what it was like it smelled like marajuana. Unfortunately this is the only picture i have of it. They were growing maybe four to seven inches tall at best. Any ideas?

That looks like the plant that we call "Rabbit Tobacco" here in Alabama.
Run it threw Google and see what comes up.

If it smells like pot when burnt,it could be some kind of hops?hard to tell because it looks dried.

White Sage, Buffalo Sage. It likes dry growing conditions

Agreed.. Looks like the stuff we have in southern Alberta prairies.. Seen it growing around the Kamloops area.. When it's small 6 - 8 '' can go to 3'
Thanks Leroy

Could be one of the many species of the "Artemisia" genus. Many people call some of these "sage" like plants. Good Luck.
